You don't need to dominate every single meeting and conversation.

Sometimes sitting back and keeping your mouth shut will give you everything you need in order to add to the conversation in a valuable way.

Get comfortable with having to explain your geniusness.

Not everybody will understand what you do, but they should understand how you can help & solve their problems. It's up to you to communicate that.

It's ok to not get paid (sometimes).

I have taken on projects before that were unpaid, but were beneficial to me in other ways because they added on to my portfolio, my knowledge, my network, and sometimes all of the above.

Keep track of your wins.

Create an excel sheet of some type to keep track of your wins, even the small ones so that you can look back and see how much you've accomplished on the times that you are down or feeling unfulfilled creatively.

Ask for more help.

I was so scared to ask for help because I thought it made me look like I wasn't intelligent, when in reality, the smartest people in the world ask for help because they KNOW what they don't know.
