GoFundMe is searching for a Communications Intern to join their team. This person will support the Global Go-To-Market team, which includes Corporate Communications and the US News team, in identifying and telling the stories of GoFundMe's community. Tasks and projects may include sourcing and researching stories and trends, drafting creative pitches to reporters, maintaining and building press lists, and supporting the team with media monitoring and measurement.
The ideal candidate is a rising Junior or Senior in college or recent college graduate with a major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field. They should have excellent attention to detail, be an effective communicator who can identify a good story, and have a passion for storytelling, research and helping those in need.
